Before Joseph joined Pension Associates, he was an administrator and consulting actuary at Retirement, LLC (now Definiti) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He began his career at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) as an actuarial student in Stamford, Connecticut and was actively involved in administration, consulting, and plan design for a wide variety of plans from single employee plans to large corporations and Multi-Employer (Taft-Hartley) plans. He has close to three decades of experience with qualified retirement plans, and sometimes still calls Schedule SBs “The B”

Joe’s real passions are traveling (particularly road tripping in the United States) and classic video gaming. When he’s in the office, you can sometimes hear him listening to classic rock and roll; when he’s not, he is walking, running, or weightlifting.
